Alright Sugary Divas let’s talk Spongebob. I’m sure some of you were not allowed to watch and for that i’m so sorry but I grew up watching Spongebob everyday, Nickelodeon was the bomb. I understand why parents might not allow their children to watch because I will admit sometimes there are tiny innuendos for adults or hinting towards bad language but children will already be exposed to actual cursing so that really isn’t a big deal, the innuendos in my opinion don’t point to indecent things they convey calling someone dumb ect. So while the show does have that issue other than that it’s not a bad show, kids and adults both enjoy the annoying sponge. Spongebob explores a lot actual situations in life, one example would be how my dog ran off (we got my baby back) but a while after I watched the episode where Gary runs away and it was actually accurate and very relatable. There are so many different relatable situations he goes through from sickness to working to people pleasing and the list keeps going. We could explore all 17 seasons but I think you understand what i’m getting at, if you’ve gone through it Spongebob probably has too.
